Cervical smears are important. It is a method of preventing cancer by detecting and treating early abnormalities which, if left untreated, could lead to cancer in a woman's cervix (the neck of the womb).
Cervical screening is no longer available on the NHS for women between the age of 18 and 25. Pall Mall Medical can carry out smear testing on women from the age of 18.
At Pall Mall Medical we have your smear result in just 3 days. The cost of a smear at Pall Mall Medical is £65.00 plus the cost of the consultation which is £100.00.
A choice of GP is available. We have female and male GPs performing this test.
