MRI Scans
Magnetic Resource Imaging (MRI) scans use magnetic and radio waves, meaning there is no exposure to x-rays found in some other imaging scans.
Using an MRI scanner, its possible for an image to be generated showing almost all the tissue and bones within the body, at any angle from the body (CT scans can only show pictures horizontally) and are more detailed.
You can usually go home after the test has been completed, no overnight stays are required.

- examining the thickness of muscles, joints and abnormal growths, possibly building up since birth
