How does it work and how quick do I get my result?
HCG stands for "Human Chorionic Gonadotropin", the pregnancy hormone which is produced by the placenta and enters the blood soon after implantation and is detected with pregnancy tests. HCG is being produced by the placenta and enters the blood stream as soon as implantation happens, about one week after fertilization and ovulation, when the embryo implants and the placenta attaches to the uterine lining. Straight after your appointment, the sample is securely couriered to our partner laboratory with a typical turn around time of just 4 hours. We can either contact you with the results, or you can call us directly.
