Thread Lift and PDO Thread ...

Non-Surgical Thread Lift and PDO Thread Treatments

Book your appointment

PDO thread treatments have the ability to rejuvenate signs of ageing. For those who are not considering a surgical lift, threads can provide the opportunity to treat the signs of ageing.

Appointments are available daily, administered by our Aesthetic Specialist Doctor at our award-winning city centre clinics in Liverpool and Manchester, as well as at our clinic in Newton-le-Willows.

About PDO thread treatments

PDO (Polydioxanone) is commonly used to make sutures to close up wounds. These threads are skillfully inserted underneath the skin in order to stimulate skin tissue. This new tissue generates collagen, effectively tightening from underneath all the way up to the surface of the skin providing an in-depth lift.

Made from bio-absorbable materials, the threads aim to rejuvenate skin and provide a lift to the face.

They are also useful for those hard to treat areas, such as under chin, neck, décolletage and arms.

Threads can be used on their own, or in combination with other aesthetic treatments (including Botox and Dermal Fillers).

The effects from one treatment with threads develop over time and can last on average for 1 year.

Many people struggle to accept the visible signs of ageing and choose these treatments as a way to rejuvenate both their appearance and their confidence. We offer free consultations to discuss what treatments would be appropriate for your aesthetic concerns.

Common treatment areas

Our treatments can target the following areas:

  • Marionette
  • Jowls
  • Chin (double chin area)
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Upper Arms (under arm region)

How long will the treatment last?

Because your skin is being encouraged to produce new collagen and elastin, it takes time to see results.

Unlike Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Dermal Fillers, the effects of this treatment are not immediate but can last a lot longer. Your skin needs time to produce new collagen and elastin so results can vary from patient to patient. When you achieve results, the effects can last from 1-2 years depending on your lifestyle.
