Nowadays, many people are experiencing a wide range of vague symptoms which can make life miserable.  Despite the best conventional medical care, in these instances, it is not uncommon to find that these symptoms can be attributed to food intolerance.

At Pall Mall Medical, we have now introduced a rapid new blood test which can comprehensively screen you for almost 60 common foods.  Arrange a consultation with our expert consultants to discuss your options.

What is a food intolerance?

Food intolerance is quite common and refers to difficulty in digesting certain foods due to the absence of an enzyme. The amount of people in all age categories suffering from food intolerance has increased greatly in recent years.  Often obscure symptoms which your GP has not been able to resolve can be a result of reactions to certain foods.

Foods most commonly associated with food intolerances include fish, dairy products (such as milk and cheese), yeast (found in bread, biscuits, and all alcoholic drinks), grains that contain gluten, and foods that cause bloating and intestinal gas build-up such as a wide range of vegetables including beans and cabbage.

Why would you have a food intolerance screening test?

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms below and your GP or Consultant has confirmed that there is no serious underlying reason for this, you may well have Food Intolerances:

• Abdominal cramps

• Anxiety & Panic attacks

• Asthma-like symptoms

• Bloating

• Dark circles under the eyes

• Diarrhoea

• Digestive disturbances

• Dry cough

• Eczema

• Fatigue

• Flatulence

• Headache

• Irritable bowel

• Joint pains

• Mouth ulcers

• Nasal congestion

• Night sweats

• Palpitations

• Rashes

• Sinusitis

• Throat irritations

• Vomiting

Our screening test will identify any food reactions you may have and provide you with information that will help you to modify your diet to improve your health and wellbeing.
