About Douglas McGeorge

Mr Douglas McGeorge is one of the UK's most experienced cosmetic surgeons, with over 30 years in practice. A former president of, professional organisation, BAAPS and surgical lead at Pall Mall, he is known for his skill in facial, breast and body surgery, and is one of the few surgeons awarded an MBE for services to plastic surgery and patient care.

He established a new Plastic Surgery Unit in the Countess of Chester Hospital in 1993. His practice covers the whole range of plastic surgery, specialising in breast surgery and facial rejuvenation.
He continues to teach the senior trainees in the Manchester and Liverpool Deaneries and has been on the Council of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons for over 15 years; having been President 2006-2008.

Outside of his surgical practice, he is a co-founder and Medical Director, devoted to producing topical treatments for common skin problems, based on scientific research, having the first product, Solution for Scars, is the only scar treatment backed up by level 1 science.

A contributor to the Princes Trust over many years, he is a member of the Northwest Development Committee, involved in fund raising events for the Trust. He supports the Centre for Social Justice and was privileged to have been a Trustee of the Scar Free Foundation for some 14 years. In June 2018 he was awarded the MBE for his charitable services.
