This means you can spread the costs over months and even years. By opting for a finance option, you are able to receive the treatment and diagnosis you need without having to pay a large sum upfront.

Pall Mall Medical work alongside afforditNow to provide finance options.

afforditNow finance is provided by PayBreak Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and registered in England with company number 07440512. What makes AffordIt Now different?

Online application process

Unlike other providers, the application process is completely online with no paperwork required at all. This means you can save your application and come back to it at a later date if you need to.

Predictive, not historical approach

Many providers will look only at your history. AffordIt Now uses a predictability model to rate your credit. This means that even if you have had bad credit in the past if your credit score is now improving then you still may be approved for credit now.

Most of the services available for finance at Pall Mall Medical will have two recommended finance options on the relevant web page. If you can’t find the information you are looking for, the recommended options, or want to know if you can have a different finance package – simply contact us and our dedicated team will help you.

 

Key definitions

  • Annual Payment Rate (APR) – the interest rate for the whole year, rather than just a monthly rate.
  • Cost of Credit – the additional amount you will pay in total, compared to if you paid in full upfront.
  • Total Cost including Credit – the amount you will pay overall after you have made all your monthly payments
  • Monthly Payment – the amount you will be required to pay each month until you have paid the full amount
  • Deposit – the amount you must pay upfront. You will not pay interest on this amount. You can vary your deposit from 5% to 50% depending on how much you are able to pay upfront. The higher the deposit, the lower you will have to pay each month.

 

Which services are available for Medical finance?

If a service is available for finance, this will be clearly identified on the relevant web page. We have also put a full list below for your convenience. If you are looking for finance on any of our services/treatments that are not on the list, please contact our team who will be able to advise if we are able to offer finance. 

There is a minimum deposit of 5% and a maximum deposit of 50%.

There is a minimum service price of £250 in order for finance options to be available.

 

Frequently asked questions

 

Will I be accepted for credit?

There are certain criteria you must meet in order to be accepted:

  • You are aged 18 or over
  • You are employed at least 16 hours per week
  • You have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, County Court Judgments (CCJs), Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) or bankruptcies
  • You are a permanent UK resident
  • You are able to supply a UK address history for the last 3 years
  • You are not a student (unless employed at least 16 hours per week) or unemployed single house person

We welcome applications from individuals who are retired, in receipt of a private or company pension (aged 50 or over at date of application).

Decisions are made based on credit history available from credit bureaus, as well as using public registers such as the electoral roll.

Please note, meeting the above criteria does not guarantee finance acceptance.

 

Can someone apply on my behalf?

You are welcome to have a family member or friend apply for credit on your behalf. The credit agreement will be between the applicant and AffordIt Now. Pall Mall Medical and AffordIt Now have no involvement in the agreement between the individual making the application and the individual receiving the service/treatment.

 

How do I apply?

How long does the application take?

The application itself only takes a few minutes and is completed online. As the application process is online, you can save the application and complete it at a later time if needed. Once you’ve submitted your application, you should find out within seconds if you’ve been approved, declined or “referred” to another lender.

-If you do get referred to another lender, this just means that the lender needs a bit more information from you. The lender will contact you directly in this scenario.

 

What happens after I’ve been approved?

If you’ve been approved, you are then required to pay the deposit – this is done by debit/credit card via the AffordIt Now website.

Pall Mall Medical will get an instant notification and will contact you shortly after this with details on the next steps for the service you have booked.

 

What if my application gets declined?

We are unable to comment on individual applications as the lender may not give us a reason for the decline. Often, applications are declined because incorrect information is given. If you believe this to be the case, please ensure your address history and all other information is entered accurately.

If you have paid a deposit, this will be refunded to you within 3-5 working days.

You are able to ask someone else to make an application on your behalf. If you wish to do this, please see the information here.

 

How do I make payments?

The deposit is taken at the time of application. Once your treatment begins, Pall Mall Medical will notify AffordIt Now, and monthly payments will start automatically by direct debit. For more information, please refer to your credit agreement sent to you by AffordIt Now.

Note, if you have booked a “course” of multiple services/treatments, payment will be due once the first service/treatment has started.

What if I need to cancel/rearrange my appointment?

Refunds & Cancellations - Terms and conditions

If you do not attend your appointment or need to reschedule within 48 working hours before the appointment, we may not be able to refund the whole amount to you. This will depend on the specific service. One of our team at Pall Mall Medical will be able to provide you with more information if you require this.
