Dr Howie Isaac is an experienced NHS Consultant Paediatrician, with over 30 years experience working in paediatrics. She has been a consultant community paediatrician since 2005, initially working at St Helen’s/Alder Hey children’s foundation trust and is currently working at Countess of Chester Hospital.

She specialises in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder and is clinical lead for neurodevelopmental paediatrics and the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) at the Countess of Chester Hospital and was the named doctor for safeguarding for the trust. Her qualifications are MBCHB, MRCP, MRCPCH.

She completed her paediatric training at Manchester and Mersey regions, and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She has published her research in peer reviewed journals and presented internationally. She has been awarded the prestigious  clinical excellence award, for her exceptional contributions to her department including leading on new service development for autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and autism pathway developments including various quality improvement projects for ADHD, Autism, dyspraxia and cerebral palsy.  She provides medical advice to the local authority for children with special educational needs and disability. She works in in partnership with parents and the NHS to provide the very best care to children

She accepts referrals from Pall Mall Clinic, GP's and the ADHD foundation, working in collaboration with the ADHD foundation.
