Mr Simon Timbrell Consultant Breast Surgeon

Simon has been a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Liverpool Foundation Trust since September 2024. He completed his higher surgical training in the northwest working in Wythenshawe, Liverpool and Bolton breast units. He undertook a years post CCT TIG fellowship in Leeds where he honed his Oncoplastic skills.

Simon went to medical school in Nottingham and after foundation training he secured a NIHR clinical fellowship with the aim of pursuing a career in breast surgery and research. During this time he completed his core surgical training and then undertook a doctorate of medicine within the breast biology laboratory at the University of Manchester.
