What is endoscopic brow lift surgery?
An Endoscopic Brow Lift is a procedure that aims to correct the loss of soft tissue elasticity. It improves the appearance of the forehead, the brow and the area around the eyes by raising the soft tissue and skin to give you a more youthful appearance. You’ll benefit from a brow lift if you have a low, sagging brow or brow asymmetry.
This cosmetic surgery procedure is minimally invasive and heals faster than traditional Brow Lift surgery.
During your operation your surgeon will shorten the muscles in your brow by making several small incisions in your hairline before inserting a long thin tube with a light and a tiny camera mounted on the end (also known as an Endoscope) through one of the incisions to view your underlying muscles and tissues.
Using an instrument inserted through another incision, your surgeon will lift your forehead tissues and anchor them in place with sutures, small screws or another technique. Your incisions are then closed with stitches or staples.
This procedure lifts the forehead area and repositions your brows for a younger look. Any scar will be hidden within your hair. A brow lift can be performed alone or in combination with other facial procedures, such as eyelid surgery or a face lift.
