Our ENT surgeons are here to answer your rhinoplasty questions

What can rhinoplasty actually change about your nose?
Rhinoplasty can achieve a significant change to the nose’s appearance. When performing rhinoplasty surgery, we don't aim for a "perfect" nose in isolation; we aim for a nose that fits your face so well that people notice your eyes, not your nose.
Rhinoplasty “nose job” surgery can address one or more of the following areas:

What are the Types of Rhinoplasty Surgery Available?
Primary Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is the "first-time" nose surgery for patients looking to address both aesthetic concerns. Because the underlying bone and cartilage are in their natural state, we have the most flexibility to reshape the bridge, refine the tip, or narrow the nostrils. The goal is to create a balanced, harmonious look that complements your existing facial features while ensuring the internal airway remains wide and clear.
Revision Rhinoplasty
Revision rhinoplasty surgery is performed on patients who have had one or more previous nose surgeries and are dissatisfied with the cosmetic result or are experiencing new breathing difficulties. These cases are more complex due to the presence of scar tissue and a potential lack of remaining septal cartilage. We often use advanced grafting techniques - sometimes using cartilage from the ear or rib - to restore structural support and achieve the desired refinement that was missed in the initial procedure.
Septoplasty
A septoplasty is a strictly functional procedure designed to correct a deviated septum, the internal wall that divides your nasal passages. When this wall is crooked, it can cause chronic congestion, snoring, or sinus infections. Unlike a rhinoplasty, a septoplasty is performed entirely inside the nose; it does not change the external shape or appearance of your nose, focusing solely on maximizing airflow and improving your quality of life.
Septorhinoplasty
Septorhinoplasty is a "hybrid" procedure is the gold standard for patients who have both a crooked internal septum and an external deformity that blocks breathing (such as a collapsed bridge or narrow nasal valves). By addressing the internal "plumbing" and the external "framework" at the same time, we ensure the nose not only looks straight and proportional but also functions at its absolute best. It is the ultimate marriage of form and function.
