Option 2: Saudi Visa Medical with TBQ Test (Includes Physical examination, Tuberculosis, Hep B, Hep C, HIV, Bilharzia and Malaria tests)

Kuwait

What countries do you provide Visa medicals for?
We currently provide Visa medicals for Bahrain, Cayman Islands, China, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Taiwan. Requirements vary by country, so it’s important to make sure you have the correct medical form before booking.
Are there any Visa medicals you don’t provide?
Yes. We’re currently unable to provide medicals for USA Visas, New Zealand, Australia, Immigration, OGUK (Oil & Gas), Offshore/Seafarer, Adoption/Fostering, Gun Licenses or Diving.
How much does a Visa medical cost?
The cost depends on the country and the specific medical package required. Visa medical packages currently range from £380 to £645, with additional tests or investigations charged where required.
Can I complete my Visa medical in one appointment?
We aim to complete the required medical assessment and tests as efficiently as possible. The exact process depends on the country and the tests required.
What do I need to bring to my Visa medical appointment?
You’ll need to bring your passport, a passport-sized photograph and a brief medical summary from your GP. If you have any relevant external test results, these must be no more than two weeks old and ID verified.
Can I use test results from another clinic?
Yes, provided the results are no more than two weeks old and have been ID verified. Otherwise, the required tests will need to be completed at Pall Mall.
How long do Visa medical results take?
Turnaround times vary depending on the country and tests required. Our current Visa medical packages typically have a turnaround of 5–7 working days, while some, such as Kuwait, can take up to 11 working days.
Do I need an X-ray as part of my Visa medical?
This depends on the requirements of your specific Visa medical. Some packages include a chest X-ray, while others do not. We’ll confirm the tests required when reviewing your medical form.
What happens if I’m pregnant and need a Visa medical?
Some Visa medical packages have alternative requirements for patients who cannot have a chest X-ray. For example, the Kuwait and Saudi Arabia packages have options using a TBQ instead of an X-ray.
Do you offer Pre-Employment Medicals?
Yes. Our GPs can carry out Pre-Employment Medicals (PEMs). The appointment costs £200, which covers the physical examination and completion of the medical form. Any additional blood tests, scans or investigations are charged separately.
Do I need an FCDO-registered doctor?
For Visa medicals, your appointment must be carried out by an FCDO-registered doctor. Our registered doctors are Dr Tang, Dr Theobalds, Dr Chinelo and Dr Khattak. FCDO registration isn't required for Pre-Employment Medicals, so these can be completed by any of our GPs.
