Dr Amit Anand

Dr Amit Anand is a Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist expertise in Adult ADHD assessments, especially in high-performance and complex cases. He leads our ADHD assessment pathway, offering a structured and evidence-based diagnostic process for patients seeking clarity, treatment, and support.

He is internationally recognised in the field of psychiatry and has a strong background in elite sports mental health, having assessed and supported high-performing individuals including Premier League footballers, professional rugby players, and Olympic athletes. This makes him particularly skilled in managing ADHD in driven, high-achieving patients who may present differently from typical cases.

Dr Anand is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is part of Cognacity’s specialist team supporting mental health in elite sport. He is also an expert witness in high-profile medico-legal cases and sits on the Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) Panel for the European Golf Tour.
