Mr Azhar Iqbal Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Mr Azhar Iqbal is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in plastic surgery. He has worked in the specialty since 1993 and has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Whiston Hospital since 2005.

Throughout his career, Mr Iqbal has developed broad experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. His particular interests include breast surgery, with procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction and breast uplift, as well as tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty), body contouring, liposuction and fat transfer. He also undertakes facial procedures including facelift surgery.

His reconstructive practice includes breast reconstruction, hand surgery and the treatment of skin lesions. He takes a patient-centred approach to care, with an emphasis on understanding each patient's individual concerns, expectations and desired outcome.
