Mr George Ampat

Mr George Ampat is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgeon. His mission is to provide quality orthopaedic and spinal opinions with minimal surgical intervention to promote wellness, relieve suffering and to restore health at the highest value for all concerned.

He is currently an Honorary Lecturer with the University of Liverpool and is constantly involved in tutorials and lectures for medical students and junior doctors.

Mr Ampat underwent Orthopaedic Specialist Registrar Rotational training at Oxford. This was followed by a Spinal Surgery Fellowship at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.

Mr Ampat has also held multiple posts through the Royal Air Force, in the UK and Overseas.

His main achievements to date include:

• Best SHO Presentation at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital: Topic Wear in Total Hip Replacements
• 1st in the Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics) Examinations, conducted by Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education (P.G.I.M.E.R)

After years of surgical practice, Mr Ampat now specialises in treating people with spine, feet and other musculoskeletal problems. Mr Ampat particularly likes to see patients who have doubts on their diagnosis, who unsure about surgery or patients that have not benefited from previous surgery.
