Professor Raghavan is certified by the International and European Boards for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the Royal College of Surgeons for all aspects of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.
A surgeon with many talents, Professor Raghavan specialises exclusively in facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. His key interests include advanced Rhinoplasty procedures and Face Lifts.
He completed his training in Otorhinolaryngology (the study of diseases of the ear, nose and throat), Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospitals of Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester in 2005. As a clinical fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, he trained in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery across Europe and the US.
Currently a consultant in Otorhinolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor Raghavan has developed facial plastic services within the ENT department. His NHS work is 95% Facial Plastic Surgery and 5% Rhinology. He also organises a basic facial plastic surgery course in Doncaster and an advanced facial aesthetic surgery course in Nottingham.
An active researcher and educator, he has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and has lectured nationally and internationally. Since 2007, he has been a national committee member of BSFPS and previously served as Secretary of the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery
