Mr Vikas Malik offers expertise in all aspects of general Ear, Nose and Throat conditions (ENT). He graduated from Lucknow University in India and completed a Masters in ENT, where he was awarded the best candidate award.
For three years, Mr Vikas Malik undertook further training as a senior registrar in otology and skull base surgery. He relocated to the UK in 2003 and completed the UK ENT training in North West England and Cambridge. He was presented a Completion Certificate of Training by the UK Joint Committee on Higher Surgical Training and is on the GMC Specialist Register. His accomplishments continued with an achievement Certificate of Excellence in Education, from North West School of Surgery in 2015 and 2016.
Mr Vikas Malik has a special interest in managing ear conditions including hearing and balance problems, tinnitus, and chronic discharging ears including cholesteatoma and ear drum perforation. He also has a distinct interest in children's ear nose & throat problems. Mr Vikas Malik carries out a wide range of ear surgeries including mastoidectomies, ossiculoplasties, stapedectomy, surgery for Meniere's Disease, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA) and cosmetic ear surgery. He has a particular interest in medical education and regularly teaches and trains medical students, as well as postgraduates.
Mr Vikas Malik strongly believes and always aims to provide safe and high-quality patient care. With all his patients he takes his time to explain conditions, making sure all queries and concerns are answered. Along with working closely with the patient to frame together personalised treatment plans.
