Mr Simon Neequaye is a dedicated Vascular Surgery Specialist. His basic surgical training was in West London, followed by higher surgical training in Oxford. He has completed two specialist overseas fellowships to gain additional experience of keyhole or endovascular surgery, spending 12 months in Melbourne Australia and 12 months in Montreal, Canada as the McGill University Advanced Aortic and Peripheral Endovascular Fellow.
Mr Neequaye is a hybrid specialist capable of performing both open and endovascular treatment for all aspects of vascular surgery. He has a broad experience of vascular surgery including all aspects of open surgery, and endovascular treatment. Also, his practice includes treatment of venous pathology with open surgery as well as Foam Sclerotherapy and Endovenous Ablation techniques for varicose veins enabling him to treat most varicose vein problems as office-based procedures under local anaesthesia.
Mr Neequaye particular expertise lies in multi-disciplinary management complex vascular problems. His current role involves very close collaboration with an extended team including Diabetes Consultants, Stroke specialists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology as well as Anaesthesia and Neurophysiology.
He is also currently a tutor for the Vascular Society Annual Specialist Registrar Educational Programme and, for the UK Endovascular training society (UKETS).
