Lauren, aged 28, from Crewe underwent Otoplasty surgery at Pall Mall in March 2023.

For as long as she could remember, Lauren has always wanted Otoplasty surgery as she has always been so insecure of her ears. Otoplasty surgery usually takes between 30 minutes to one hour with patients returning home the same day. Some patients choose to undergo this procedure with local anaesthetic, rather than general anaesthetic.

After surgery Lauren ensured she gave her body plenty of time to recover, she binged watch lots of Netflix series and ate lots of ice-cream. Her three recovery must-haves include: an airport pillow, a pregnancy pillow and a surgical headband.

Speaking after her procedure, Lauren said: “I feel amazing now, genuinely happier than I have ever been. I am so thankful to my surgeon, Mr Raghavan, for giving me the ears I’ve dreamt of for so long.

“If I knew how much happier and more confident, I’d have felt following the surgery, I would have done it so much sooner! It’s so nice to be able to tie my hair back after all these years and not feel self-conscious.”
