Ms Nabila Nasir Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon

Ms Nabila Nasir is highly experienced oncoplastic and cosmetic consultant breast surgeon with over 15 years’ experience as an oncoplastic consultant breast surgeon at Manchester Foundation NHS Trust. She completed Higher surgical training in London working with renowned breast surgeons, achieving fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons before being appointed as a consultant in 2011. 

She has expertise in the management of complex breast conditions and reconstructive challenges. Skilled in a wide range of advanced oncoplastic and aesthetic breast procedures, with particular expertise in complex revision surgery and achieving natural, balanced outcomes following previous surgery.

Committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care, with a strong focus on patient safety, meticulous surgical technique, and consistently low complication rates. She takes a patient-centred approach, combining oncological safety with aesthetic principles to achieve optimal functional and cosmetic results. She manages cancer patients with onco-aesthetic approach to improve breast appearance despite cancer surgery.

Experienced in managing challenging primary and revision cases, including patients requiring correction of previous cosmetic and cancer surgical outcomes. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care throughout the patient journey, from initial assessment and treatment planning through to long-term follow-up.

She has published in peer review journals and presented in international meetings. She takes active part in teaching and training junior surgeons and is governance lead for breast unit to ensure patient safety.
