What procedures are typically included in Combination Surgery?

A combination procedure allows you to choose what areas you want to target within a single surgery.

Your surgeon will also be able to guide you on the best combination of treatments and tailor your treatment plan to your individual goals and natural proportions.

Some of the most common Combination Procedure Surgeries are:

Tummy Tuck

After pregnancy or weight loss your skin can struggle to return to ‘normal’ as it has stretched beyond its natural elastic capacity resulting in loose skin and stubborn fat that is hard to get rid of, even with diet and exercise.

A Tummy Tuck can help renew your self confidence and restore your love for your body again by getting rid of excess and tighten weakened abdominal muscles, including conditions like diastasis recti. we offer a range of tummy tuck procedures and you’ll be advised which one is most suitable based during a free consultation with one of expert surgeons.

Breast Uplift, Enlargement or Reduction

After pregnancy or weight loss, the breasts can change in size, shape, position, and symmetry. Loss of skin elasticity and factors such as uneven breastfeeding may also affect overall fullness and contour.

Breast Uplift (Mastopexy), with or without an implant, or Breast Enlargement alone can help restore your breast symmetry and alignment to leave your breasts looking perkier and more elevated to give an aesthetically pleasing result.

Breast Reduction can be beneficial if the breasts remain large after or your suffering with  physical discomfort such as neck or back pain or from the size of your breasts

At Pall Mall Cosmetics, we recommend waiting at least six months post-breastfeeding before scheduling a free consultation at one of our clinics in ManchesterLeeds or Liverpool.

This time frame allows the breasts to stop milk production and return to their normal or "new normal" size, which will give your consultant a more accurate picture from your natural breasts.

Liposuction and Fat Removal

One of the most challenging aspects of post  pregnancy or weight loss is often being left with stubborn areas of fat.

Traditional Liposuction or VASER Liposuction can target these specific areas you may feel conscious about to provide definition and reshape/contour the area either on it’s own or paired with Tummy Tuck surgery.

What results can I expect?

Results vary depending on the procedure performed and individual healing. Your final results continue to develop over several months as swelling reduces and tissues settle.

However, patients often notice:

  • A flatter, more contoured abdonimal area
  • Improved breast shape and positioning
  • A more proportionate body silhouette
  • Clothing fitting more comfortably
  • A more defined waistline

Recovery and aftercare: Everything you need to know

We understand you may have questions about recovery after cosmetic surgery, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

At your free consultation and post-operative appointments, you’ll receive detailed information about your procedure, along with a comprehensive aftercare booklet to take home and review at your own pace.

You will also be supported by a dedicated patient coordinator who will be your direct point of contact  for any questions, concerns, or appointment arrangements before your surgery.

It is important to set aside enough time to rest and recover properly as the way you recover can impact/affect the results of your surgery. Your surgery cost covers our extensive aftercare service so you can benefit from post-op check-up appointments with us for up to two years at no extra charge. You will also have access to a 24/7 contact number for our nurses within the hospital if you have any concerns during your recovery

Here is some guided advice on how to recover after getting any of our cosmetic surgery procedures:

Tummy Tuck Recovery

It is crucial that you eat only light nutritious foods in the first 24-48 hours following surgery. You can particularly help your abdominal skin to heal if you consume foods rich in protein, vitamins and minerals.

Breast Uplift/Enlargement/Reduction Recovery

Before you leave the hospital, you will be wearing your compression bra which we ask you to wear for several weeks after surgery. As a result, you can keep the breasts securely in place as they heal.

Though your post-surgery breasts may initially look swollen or discoloured, this appearance will fade during the subsequent six months, as will the incision lines.

Liposuction Recovery

You will need to wear a compression garment for six weeks after receiving Liposuction surgery from Pall Mall.

It's important to rest and let your body recover for 4-6 weeks, however gentle activities like walking after 1-2 weeks can help reduce swelling and promote circulation.

It is common to experience some swelling and bruising for the weeks following the surgery. Fluid retention is also common, but most of these symptoms will settle as your body recovers.

You can start seeing results within 4-6 weeks for VASER Liposuction and see final results in 6-9 months for Traditional Liposuction.
Safety and consultation

All procedures are carried out following a full medical assessment and consultation with a qualified surgeon. During this appointment, your goals, suitability, and treatment options will be discussed in detail.

This ensures your surgical plan is appropriate, safe, and aligned with your expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Our expert team are always hand to help, advise and arrange appointments with our specialist consultants.

How long until I see results from my Combination surgery?

Recovery will depend on the different combination of surgeries you choose to have.

On average we say to wait at least 6-8 weeks to fully recover from your surgery.

How much does a Combination procedure cost?

Our combination prices start from £11,995.

The price of combination surgery is personalised to you and dependent on the combination of surgeries you choose to undergo.

But don’t worry about being blindsides with ‘suprise fees’ - as you’ll be given an accurate price during your free consultation which includes a comprehensive breakdown of what’s included and what to expect.

Our Combination packages include all of the following:

  • Free consultation
  • All pre-op appointments
  • Standard tests, such as MRSA
  • Dedicated Patient Coordinator and Patient Experience Team
  • Post-op check-up appointments with both surgeon and nurse at Pall Mall (up to two years after the surgery)
  • Revision surgery if needed - although very rarely is this needed

This basically means that all of the above — along with the surgery itself — is covered in the overall price you pay for the Makeover.

At Pall Mall we have finance options available, you wouldn’t necessarily have to pay the whole price upfront.

You can use our finance calculator to see if you are eligible for a cosmetic finance plan that would let you spread the cost.

In order to secure your surgery date, you will have to pay a £500 deposit.

What should I expect during the consultation process?

You can choose to have your free consultation at one of our clinics in Liverpool, Leeds or central Manchester.

One of our actual surgeons will discuss with you exactly what you want to get out of the Mummy Makeover.

That way, the surgeon will be able to recommend a surgery package that would provide the specific results you seek for your body post child-birth.

The consultant will also account for other factors that you may have overlooked but could jeopardise the wisdom of you taking up a Mummy Makeover right now.

For example, you might have certain health issues that would leave this particular course of surgical treatment out of the question for you.

Alternatively, the consultant could identify an alternative treatment that would meet more of the right criteria for you. Keep in mind that Pall Mall offers a range of enticing cosmetic surgery solutions besides the Mummy Makeover.

Overall, your free consultation with Pall Mall will last between 20 and 45 minutes, affording you plenty of time to ask a wide array of questions.

I’ve only just given birth, so could I have a a combination procedure now?

The problem is that it can take some time after childbirth for your body to return to its pre-pregnancy weight and shape - or at least as close to both as it will get without surgical intervention.

It is generally advised that, before having any cosmetic surgery, you wait at least six months to a year after when you gave birth.

It would also be wise for you to postpone any plans for surgery if you intend to have any other children, as a tummy tuck isn’t designed to be provided to the same patient more than once.

How do I prepare for my combination surgery?

Preparation for a combination procedure is a simple and important step towards a successful experience. To ensure optimal results, follow these guidelines:

  1. Schedule your surgery at least 6 months after completing breastfeeding.
  2. Refrain from smoking for a few weeks before surgery and during the post-surgery period.
  3. Make arrangements for someone to pick you up from our private hospital in Newton-Le-Willows
  4. Follow advice from your pre-op appointment about medications
  5. Give yourself enough time off work to properly rest and recover
  6. Avoid eating anything for eight hours before your scheduled surgery
  7. Arrive at your appointment without wearing makeup, jewellery, or perfume and acrylic nails.
The benefits of a Combination Procedure?
  1. Multiple procedures conveniently performed in a single appointment.
  2. Customised surgical approach to meet individual expectations.
  3. Regain confidence in your body and clothes again with a more flattering fit.
  4. Improved breast cleavage and reduction in stretch marks.
  5. Restore your body to how it looked pre-pregnancy
  6. Significantly heightened confidence and self-assurance.
Will I need Muscle Repair or Tightening with Combination Surgery?

Not everyone needs muscle repair during a tummy tuck. It depends on whether your abdominal muscles have become stretched or separated. This is common after pregnancy or significant weight changes.

Your surgeon may recommend tightening the muscles as part of your procedure to enhance your results. This can help to create a flatter, firmer abdominal profile and can also improve core strength. If your muscles are still in good condition, muscle repair may not be necessary.

During your consultation, your surgeon will assess your abdominal wall and advise whether muscle tightening would benefit you as part of your personalised treatment plan.

What can I expect after tummy tuck surgery?

After you have been discharged from our hospital after having a Tummy Tuck procedure, you would leave with pain relief, dressings and a support/pressure garment (corset) on your tummy, or tummy control pants. You will not be able to drive therefore someone would need to drive you home. It is recommended that you have someone stay with you for the following 24 hours after leaving hospital. Your support garment should be worn for 6 weeks for your comfort and to help with healing.

Your aftercare package with Pall Mall Cosmetics will include a full programme of post-operative care. This will involve clinical review/checks of your wounds to make sure you are healing well.
