I had always been quite insecure about being flat chested. I had always had the idea in my head of having a boob job even when I was in high school. I wanted to ensure I had my surgery in the UK to ensure I received all the correct after care.
I was made to feel very at ease and comfortable by the nurses. I then met with my surgeon where we discussed the implant sizes I had gone for. I was shocked at how quick the procedure was, I was in theatre for just under an hour.

I decided to have a breast reduction as it was causing me a lot of pain when standing or walking for long periods of time.
It would affect my mental health and drop my confidence as I would never feel confident or happy in myself with larger breasts. I couldn’t wear anything nice, and I constantly felt big in myself as they made me feel 10x bigger than what I was. I battled with the NHS for 4 years. They eventually told me I was not an acceptable case and I needed to “grow into them”.

I suffered really badly with back and shoulder pain due to the extra weight I was carrying on my chest and I felt as though I couldn’t wear the things I wanted to, my confidence was at an all-time low and my mental health was also affected.
